Lodge Farm Primary School, Leeds

 

In conjunction with Herts Catering Limited and Willis Jenkins, we worked on a particularly unique project that set about transforming a primary school canteen into a modern and elegant cafe and deli bar.

Unlike most projects where the aim is to simply refresh the look and feel of a school canteen, this was a transformation that would leave most people thinking they were genuinely in a cafe.

This is not the first project that Tracie Bere at HCL has undertaken and we're sure it wont be the last! We were brought in at the planning stage with a brief to come up with some layout plans and propose furniture styles that would modernise the canteen, make it more "grown up" and ofcourse keep it cost-effective.

In the end, we provided banquette seating and booths to create a couple of soft seating feature areas and also provided in excess of 60 metallic bistro chairs along with tables and stools. The project was a roaring success and certainly delivered on its goals.
