Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, Altrincham

We were approached by Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in 2014 when they invited us to the school to survey their new purpose-built common room which needed seating for over 100 students.

 

After meeting with the staff in charge of the project, we established they needed modular furniture which could be rearranged by the students as and when they needed as the room was used not only for socialising and eating lunch but also group work, sixth form meetings and occasionaly screening films & videos on their large projector screen.

 

We proposed our Vista modular seating range in three unique layout plans in order to offer them different price points to suit their budget and once the school had settled on an option we set about trying to find the best colour matches to the school's purple and blue logo in a hard-wearing fabric. We presented them with samples of the ultra-durable and highly-popular Atlanta range which they absolutely loved and eventually opted for.

 

5 weeks later, we delivered and arranged the seating as per plan and the result looked fantastic. The vivid bright blue backed sofas and lime green stools added an injection of colour to the common room and the modularity of the units meant the furniture met all of the school's needs.
